Christmas at San Ignacio

Prepare the way, make room, Christmas is here! Below you will find the Christmas Season Mass Schedule. Please note it is may change as we adapt to the changing nature of the Covid-19 pandemic. We ask that those who choose to come to Mass in person register online so we may plan for the limited  space. Each celebration may only accommodate 130 parishioners. We ask you collaborate with our ushers as they facilitate this process in the best interest of all.

Aguinaldo Masses are Here

Begin your day with hopeful anticipation by participating in our Misas de Aguinaldo. Thanks to the help of volunteers from the schools, communities and ministries in the parish, San Ignacio is able to offer this novena of masses starting on the 16th of December. It is important that everybody that is interested in participating in the masses in person help us comply with our COVID-19 Protocol, which is available on this site for review. Please sign up for the masses ahead of time. Below we include the calendar of Aguinaldo Masses

Trees of Hope Bring Christmas to Everyone

We want to thank the generosity of our parishioners who responded so quickly to this year’s Trees of Hope. As in years past, with the arrival of the Advent Season San Ignacio Parish places a couple of Christmas trees in the entrance to the church. The decorations on the trees are invitations for parishioners to bring a specific gift item that will be donated to the entity or community stated on the ornament.  This year San Ignacio Parish has dedicated its Trees of Hope to serve the needs of the Instituto Psicopedagógico de Puerto Rico, the Hogar de Niñas de Cupey and Centro Comunitario Caminando con Caimito. In record time, by the second Sunday of Advent, the ornaments had been taken and returned with gift bags by the trees. We wish to thank everyone who has made this activity possible.

A New Way Forward: Online Community Services

At the beginning of October 2020, San Ignacio Parish invited parishioners to envision a new way to experience community and live our faith. In response, we are renewing the ways to communicate with the 930am community, to improve connections during this time of social distancing. Please look the options below for participation. Choose them all if you like! Join us in making our faith come to life in new ways.
