Holy Week Celebrations

Holy Wednesday, April 12th

  • At 7:30pm in the Colegio San Ignacio chapel, Brother Larry Huck, SJ, will be giving an hour long meditation on The Passion of our Lord

Holy Thursday, April 13th

  • Celebration of the Last Supper begins at 8pm.
  • This mass commemorating the Last Supper will be the only mass for the day.

Holy Friday, April 14th

  • 9am – 12noon – Retreat (in English) – Meditations will be led by Brother David Kibblinger at the Colegio San Ignacio Chapel.
  • 9am – 2pm – Reconciliation services in the Temple
  • 3pm Celebration of the Passion of the Lord

Holy Saturday, April 15th

  • Easter Vigil Mass will be held starting at 11pm.

Easter Sunday, April 16th

  • On this day there will be no 8am mass in Spanish.
  • 9:30am Easter Mass in English
  • 10:15am Easter Mass in Jardines de San Ignacio
  • 11am Easter Mass
  • 7pm Easter Mass

Father John F. “Bud” Talbot McCann, SJ, died March 19 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He was 88 years old, a Jesuit for 70 years and a priest for 57 years.  For decades he inspired us. He is remembered for his kindness, deep spirituality and lifelong intellectual curiosity. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 24 at Capilla del Colegio San Ignacio, San Juan. Please join us in the celebration of life at the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 25, at Parroquia San Ignacio in San Juan.

Ven y comparte con toda la comunidad ignaciana en la Fiesta de San Ignacio de Loyola. Este domingo todas las misas en la parroquia estarán dedicadas a esta fiesta, pero la celebración principal se dará a las 5:30pm, seguido por un compartir en el Catorium de la Academia San Ignacio.

Celebrate the Feast Day of our Patron Saint

This next Sunday, San Ignacio Parish will dedicate all its masses to celebrating the feast day of San Ignacio, our patron saint.  Join us to celebrate mass in English at 9:30pm and then again at the parish community dinner gathering at the Academia San Ignacio Cafetorium at 7:00pm.
